My name is Thomas Suurland and I'm 28 years old and from Denmark. I've been using various 3D Studio products since late 1993 starting with 3D Studio release 3 for dos, and if I counted right this gives me well over 10 years of experience.

I started out in the games industry doing primarily real-time 3d models. In 2000 I started my own company so I could start freelancing and work with product visualization and modeling which is my true passion.

I'm still working as a freelancer since it's been some very exciting years with various projects so it never gets boring. Must of my work is made in strong relation with
3e-oeil a french based design agency from who I get must of my work, they have a lot of high profile clients who is always challenging to work for.

My hobby is photography which goes hand in hand with 3d since it can teach you a lot about composition and colors. And to know how to make 3d photoreal you have to know how a photo "looks and works".
